Purpose: To share and encourage.
Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing
foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer
assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all
kinds!
Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time - and return comments. This group is all about connecting! Be sure to link to this page and display the badge in your post. And please be sure your avatar links back to your blog! Otherwise, when you leave a comment, people can't find you to comment back.

Every month, we announce a question that
members can answer in their IWSG post. These questions may prompt you
to share advice, insight, a personal experience or story. Include your
answer to the question in your IWSG post or let it inspire your post if
you are struggling with something to say.

December 3 question - As a writer, what was one of the coolest/best gifts you ever received?
Hi everyone!
It is December in Minnesota, which means that it is snowy and cold. The perfect weather for staying inside and reading or working on that novel. How have you been?
I can't wait to see what other people have received as gifts. The coolest one I've gotten was an e-card from a reader. It had a beautiful video about a dog finding a home at Christmas time. I still treasure it.
What is your answer?
Happy Holidays from Allie and Tank!
That's really cool that a reader sent you an e-card. And it's bitter cold here in Michigan too. I don't want to go outside either.
ReplyDeleteE-card from a readers sounds great. Before there is the internet, there is actual mail which I do kind of like better but it's safer with email though.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember what cool or best gift I ever recieved but I'm sure there is something.
Have a lovely day.
Wow! Hearing from a reader is the best gift!
ReplyDeleteHi, Allie! I hope you're staying warm and cozy in Minnesota! It's snow and cold here in Colorado today too. I've been watching the mule deer trying to find some grass sticking out of the snow all day. What a beautiful e-card! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
ReplyDeleteanything from a reader is a great gift! and you’re a brave soul to live in Minnesota =D
ReplyDeletehappy december!

Gifts from readers are great!
ReplyDeleteA card from a reader would be wonderful! I'm not sure I've ever gotten a physical gift specifically related to writing, but the best gift I've received is my husband's support. He's always been my biggest cheerleader.
