Off Of My Bookshelves

Hey Everyone!

Allie and I have decided to try something a little different. On Thursdays, we are going to pick a book off of our bookshelves and share it with you! We thought it would be fun to highlight some lovely books that have been out for a while. Plus get more pictures with me, Tank! Please enjoy and don’t be afraid to share your favorites with us!

Today we are going to discuss the book *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them*. It is by JK Rowling writing as Newt Scamander, and I am not talking about the screenplay from the movie!

This book is one of Harry's textbooks that he uses while in Hogwarts. I love Harry Potter and when this book came out in 2001 I knew I had to have it!

Why you might ask? I am a huge animal lover (obviously!), and if I was a wizard the Care of Magical Creatures would be my favorite class.

The book is written as if wizard was reading it. It's set up as an encyclopedia with a danger rating system and some sketches of the creatures. Some of the creatures are pretty unique. Plus it is the only orange book on my shelf! So fun!
