Just for One Night by Lisa Edmonds
Narrated by M. Harris
Book Blurb from Goodreads:
The jukebox is playing Eddie Money and dawn is only an hour away, and Sean Maclin sees something he wants, even if it's just for the night. Relive one of the most memorable encounters from Heart of Malice (Alice Worth, Book 1) through Sean's eyes.
It's been a long workday for Sean, alpha werewolf and co-owner of a private security company. Rather than go home, he heads for Hawthorne's, a popular late-night bar catering to the city's night owls, looking for good music and a drink to unwind.
Someone else is headed to Hawthorne's tonight too after a long and eventful day: Alice Worth, mage private investigator, is hoping for an audience with the bar's vampire owner.
A chance meeting changes everything for a woman who lives in the shadows and a man who prowls the night by moonlight.
I just love Lisa Edmonds’ Alice Worth’s stories. They are the ones that I read over and over again. I reviewed the Alice Worth series HERE.
Now I picked this audiobook one day when I needed something to listen to as I ran. It is very short at less that 60 minutes in length.
The narrator is excellent. He has a deep, sexy type of voice that was perfectly Sean. He had great pacing and inflection.
This story was told from Sean’s POV when he first picked up Alice. It is definitely a teaser for the rest of the Alice Worth series. I am so glad that she wrote from his POV. He was one of my favorite characters and it was nice to see his thoughts. The action moves right along and I love his reactions to Alice.
If you are looking for something that is a short listen with a sexy male werewolf and how he falls in love with a strong woman, check this one out!
