I was excited to read this book because I enjoy both Meredith Wild’s and Helen Hardt’s works. I was disappointed. The authors lost their unique voices in this book. There is really nothing wrong with it. It just didn’t draw me in and hold my attention. I had to force myself to keep reading, and I was bored. While the romance was fantastic, you know being taken on the bow of a yacht watching the sunset over the Pacific, the plot was slow and labored. Right where the plot started to quicken, I felt like it was rushed and then the book ended. I wish there was as much regular action as there was bedroom action. Luckily, I love both these authors so I will continue to read them but maybe not a collaboration.

ReplyDeleteTaken on the bough of a yacht overlooking the Pacific is definitely a line I've never heard before!! Sorry it wasn't the read you were expecting- hopefully the next one will be better :D
